1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Battlepoint Catalyst ("the Service"), operated by Battlepoint Studios ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Battlepoint Catalyst is an AI-powered development assistant for Roblox Studio. The Service generates Lua code and game assets through natural language prompts, integrates with Roblox Studio via a plugin, and provides tools to assist with Roblox game development.
3. Eligibility & Account Requirements
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
- You must have a valid Discord or Roblox account to authenticate with the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
- Create, generate, or distribute malicious scripts, exploits, cheats, or hacks
- Violate Roblox's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Policies
- Generate content that is harmful, illegal, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or abuse the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service
- Use the Service to compete with or replicate the Service
- Share your account or credentials with others
- Use automated methods (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without authorization
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
5. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate code and content. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content is provided "as-is" without warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any generated code before use
- We are not liable for any errors, bugs, security vulnerabilities, or issues in generated content
- Generated content may require modification to meet your specific needs
- You should not rely on AI-generated content for critical or safety-sensitive applications without thorough review
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- Your Content: You retain ownership of your original projects, prompts, and content you create using the Service.
- Generated Code: Code generated by Catalyst may be used freely in your Roblox games without attribution.
- Our Property: The Catalyst service, brand, logo, website design, AI models, and underlying technology are the exclusive property of Battlepoint Studios and are protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may not use our branding, trademarks, or intellectual property without written permission.
7. Service Availability & Modifications
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the entire Service at any time
- Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
- Limit or restrict access to certain features
- Update pricing, plans, or subscription terms with reasonable notice
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BATTLEPOINT STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Battlepoint Studios and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for:
- Violation of these Terms
- Conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, us, or third parties
- Any other reason at our sole discretion
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on our website or through our Discord server. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
